Experience
EventInc GmbH • B2B SaaS Event Platform • Hamburg
Joined to build product strategy from the ground up for a company that had none. Built the strategic foundation, the team's capability framework, and the connective tissue between company direction and daily product decisions, all within the first months.
Thoughtworks • Global Technology Consultancy • Hamburg
Three and a half years working across automotive, life sciences, and financial services, moving between programs that needed strategy, discovery, or delivery orchestration, sometimes all three at once.
My approach across engagements: extract strategy, set measurable goals, build teams that can run with it. I blend Playing to Win, design thinking, Liberating Structures, and agile/lean, adapted to context, not applied by the book.
codecentric AG • Technology consultancy • Hamburg
moebel.de • B2C eCommerce Platform • Hamburg
Finiata GmbH • AI/ML-based B2B fintech • Berlin
Brought on to diversify an established lender's portfolio: a new AI-based cash flow tool for small businesses who'd been turned down for credit. The strategic bet ultimately didn't hold up, and I was the one who said so.
The product wasn't the success story here. The team was.
Freelance
Telus Digital • Innovation Lab in Telco • Toronto, Canada
esome advertising • Social Media AdTech • Hamburg
makeupland • B2C eCommerce • Hamburg
An independent online beauty retail business specialising in cruelty-free, partly vegan, and indie makeup brands, founded with KfW startup funding after a formally evaluated business plan. Full-time for two years, then run in parallel with a full-time PM role for another two.
Running makeupland taught me things no PM role could: what it feels like when every decision is yours, when the customer relationship is direct and unmediated, and when the gap between a good idea and a working business is entirely your problem to close. It's why I never romanticise "just ship it" - I know what shipping actually costs.
How I lead
Teams move faster once they understand why, not just what. I'd rather spend a week creating a decision framework than watch a team spend a quarter building the wrong thing quickly.
Scrum, Shape Up, Liberating Structures: all useful, none sacred. I adapt process to the team in front of me, and I've never regretted throwing out a framework that wasn't earning its keep.
At Finiata I advised killing a product I'd help build, because the market told us to. The team we built along the way was the actual win. I'd rather be right early than right eventually.
Fintech, IoT, streaming, events, payments: I've moved between all of them and gotten to grips with each faster than expected. New domains don't intimidate me. Not knowing something yet is just information I don't have.

I'm looking for a product leadership role where strategic ownership is real from day one, at a purposeful scale-up where the work actually matters. If that sounds like your team, I'd love to talk.
